MSC Cruises’ ‘Europe Blowout’ Savings Extended Due to Popular Demand on Mediterranean and Northern Europe Sailings

Book by August 15 to Save on Late Summer/Early Fall Cruises

FORT LAUDERDALE, FLA. (July 31, 2009) – Due to popular demand, MSC Cruises is extending its “Europe Blowout” savings to help travelers plan a last-minute cruise through Europe.

Space is limited, so book early for the best available staterooms within a category. This offer expires August 15, 2009. “Europe Blowout” rates begin at $499 per person on select 7-night cruises and $799 for 10-night positioning cruises visiting some of Europe's most exotic ports.

Experience the cruise line’s elegant ships including two of the fleet’s newest — sister ships MSC Splendida and MSC Fantasia. Both ships have been recognized with several honors for utilizing green technology in an effort to preserve and protect the environment.

Some of the itineraries featuring special “Europe Blowout” rates on new bookings of select 7-night sailings include:

• MSC Splendida: Western Mediterranean, starting at $549, upgrade to ocean view stateroom for $100 more;
• MSC Fantasia: Western Mediterranean, starting at $599, upgrade to ocean view for $50 more;
• MSC Armonia: Eastern Mediterranean, starting at $529, upgrade to ocean view for $200 more;
• MSC Orchestra: Baltic or Norwegian Fjords, starting at $1,099, upgrade to ocean view for $100 more; Western Mediterranean, starting at $549, upgrade to ocean view for $100 more;
• MSC Musica: Eastern Mediterranean, starting at $649, upgrade to ocean view for $100 more;
• MSC Lirica: Western Mediterranean, starting at $499, upgrade to ocean view for $200 more.

“Europe Blowout” rates on select 10- or 11-night positioning cruises include:
• MSC Lirica: Dover or Amsterdam to Genoa starting at $799, upgrade to ocean view for $200 more;
• MSC Orchestra: Kiel to Genoa from $899, upgrade to ocean view for $100 more.

Children ages 17 and younger sail free when sharing a stateroom with two full-fare-paying adults. Cruise-only rates are per person, based on double occupancy (government fees and taxes for all guests are additional) and cannot be combined with any other discount or promotion.
